Is there any financial aid offered by WVDAS?

We offer several different payment programs to make getting your dental assisting education started easy. Cash and check of course are accepted. Additionally, we accept all major credit cards, have the ability to extend payments of the tuition and related fees over time, and offer no-interest payment options.

How long is the course?

A

The course is 14-weeks, with one day each week dedicated to classroom and clinic learning (hands-on).

How much can I expect to earn starting out?

A

Every dental office is different. Every experience students encounter is, too. Many students can expect to start their new careers well-above the Oregon minimum wage. Many assistants in the Salem-area report earning from $10 to $14 per hour and up after a few months.
